For a long time, I was in denial, I thought a smoothie bowl will never fill me up as breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But after a series of health issues, I finally tried a few recipes and my opinion has changed forever. Here is one of the easiest smoothie bowl recipes ever – free from gluten and dairy.
Healthy banana and berry smoothie bowl

Ingredients
2 smaller or 1 medium bananas (frozen for a thicker consistency)
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1/2 cup frozen cherries or blueberries
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
- Toppings (can be swapped to any other seeds and/or berries)
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
Directions
- Just add all ingredients to a blender (I use a hand blender) and blend until the ingredients are smooth and nicely combined.
- Pour or scoop to a bowl and add your favourite toppings, for example fresh berries, chia, pumpkin and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Add 2 tbsp of kefir for a healthy kick in the gut
